The Uninvited

I was just talking about the movie with a close friend of mine and she inquired if I had seen it. You know I had...lol Anywho, it was one of those movies that I don't think was in the movies long but was a really good movie. When you first start to watch it you think it's some sort of paranormal movie, but on the contrary, it isn't. And the end really blows you away! I cant say to much without giving it away, but if you happen to see it Blockbusters or wherever, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

What's Your Scariest Horror Flick and Why?????

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm there aren't that many scary movies out there that scare me, and I must say I am quite the horror buff. However for me I would have to say The Exorcist. That is one movie I cannot watch at night alone and can hardly watch it during the day. When they remade it with the uncut version, that scared me all the more. In fact it scared the HELL out of me!
It's the scariest for me because I played with the Quija board when I was little and I do believe in spirits being all around us....all they need is a sort of door way in which to come into our world. Any of those movies (i.e. Exorcist of Emily Rose) where someone is possessed scares me to the death, yet I continue to watch them..go figure. Other movies are, The Amiytville Horror (the original one), the music alone scares me. The Horror Express is another one. Watching a movie when your young and then watching it as an adult means a world of difference. What do you think???

If you scare easy beware, but here are some clips from my two scariest movies thus far....enjoy.

PS - Just having to get these links from UTube just scared me. I had to watch them first to make sure they were the correct one...now I'm hearing noises and sh*t...Great!

Day Breakers...My Thoughts

I went to go and see Day Breakers last night and I found it pretty interesting. It's basically Hell on earth as extinction not only occurs for humans but for the immortals as well. As theyboth push forward to find a solution, everyone is forced to engage in goolish, gory, uncontrollable, and selfish, and necessart acts in order survive. As the human race and vampires push forward for answers, they each fall victim to their own individual fate.....

I enjoyed the movie. I think it would have been awesome in 3-d (like My Bloody Valentine, but better). The sound effects and the amazing visual effects would have made it a "kick ass" 3-d movie. As a matter of fact, although it might cost us more money, I think people would enjoy more 3-d horror/scary movies..I know I would! In the movie Avatar, I jumped a few times becasue the tree branch, a tail, or a bird appeared to be an inch from my face.....imagine if that had been a bloody ax soaring towards my face. Any who I thought it was fabulous fun and give it 2 thumbs up!
