Ted

Ok, who else liked the movie Ted and enjoyed it??? Def not a kid friendly movie!! I really enjoyed Ted. Hoenstly that teddy was funny as all h*ll!!! The best part was..........FLASH GORDON. How did they manage to get him in there! He was SO fine in Flash Gordan...Sam J. Jones. Everytime that movie comes on, I have to watch it. Loved Flash Gordon. But I am getting off of my topic so let me get back to Ted. Some say you need to watch while under the influence but I wasn't and crack up!!! This bear was getting in, on, and every which way. And Marky Mark is always nice to look at. He's a good actor...came a long way! I am still trying to figure out the sex scene with Ted and the young lady smh.... Anywho anyone else check out Ted? Cant wait to check out Batman, The Watch (loveeeee Vince V), and Sparkle.

The Human Centipede

Now I haven't seen every movie there is, but I have seen my share, and up until now nothing has ever grossed me out more than The Human Centipede. Not my choice, but I watched it because my niece recommended it. OMG......craziest movie I have ever seen and apparently they have part 1 and 2. I was even more shocked to find out that someone older than me had watched it also. This crazy a** movie about this lonely old momma's boy, that looked like a hard boiled egg btw, who lived with his mother and obsessed with centipedes. He carried around a collage of pictures infatuated with them. He even went so far as to research how to make a human centipede and apparently he watch Part 1 of the movie and decided he was going to make part 2. He works as a parking attendant in a garage and as people come in and out to get their car, them. Men, women, and pregnant women. He knocks them out with a blow to the head. When they wake up, they find themselves in an empty warehouse, on their stomachs, naked, and with their wrists and ankles tied. Fast forwarding to the middle and the end of the movie...he ends up with a total of about 10 people in which he proceeds to knock out all of their teeth with a hammer. Then proceeds to cut out cariledge from theris knees, turns all of the over so they are on all fours, cuts the skin out around their anal, and proceeds to take another hostage and staples their lips to the person's a** hole in which he just cut out...making them all united and with one digestionanl track. Gross!!! This turn him on!!! He then gives the person at the front of the centiped soup so she can sh*t. She spits it out! He then gives her a shot in her a** of something that will make her have diarrhea. It works. Minutes after he gives her the shot she starts to gooooooo. The person whose mouth is stapled to her a** begins to swallow her sh*t, then he starts to go and etc...etc... Never in my life seen anything like that and the whole time I am watching it, I am thinking why? But I had to continue to watch because my curiousirty got the better of me. But what a sick movie. Don't know where people come up with such things...smh. Anyone else seen this movie? Part 1 or 2??

Insidious 2011

Director James Wan (Saw) did a fabulous job with this movie. Starring Patrick Wilson (Lake View Terrace) and Rose Byrne (28 Weeks Later). This was the most nail biting, chilling, jumping, scary, and suspenseful horror movie that I have seen in a really long time. It wasn't like your Saw movies with all the blood and gore..it was much actually scarier. I have always found that the scariest movies are movies with little to no blood (Devil) and those that can't be explain (i.e. ghosts/spirits and cult movies like Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, or Paranormal Activity.)

The movie begins as the family moves into their new home when Dalton ( Ty Lambert) expresses to his mother Renai (Rose Byrne) that he does not like his new room. That's when strange happenings begin to occur. Renai begins to see images in the house and hear strange noises. Dalton falls ill or so they think, and it's all down hill from there. Renai begins to put the house at fault and as a result, they move to another house..but so do the strange happenings. No one in the family is at rest and no one can explain what's happened to Dalton. Meanwhile the disturbances are happening more frequently and more profound. As the family begins to search for answers, they dive deeper and deeper into the abyss of the unknown and the past in hopes to save their son and themselves from these demons; however it's not all red hearts and purple stars at the end.

I really enjoyed this movie. It kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat! The demons in this movie were perfectly done in that you could only see an image which made it even scarier and in others, were just scary to look at. I jumped a few times and surprisingly enough, at night I still might see an image of one of the demons in my head. That hardly ever happens! A definite must see!

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

The story continues as Harry searches for Voldermort to destroy him. Since this is the last book, it is not going to be as easy as it has been in the past to track him down. There is a lot going on. There is a huge betrayal by one of the characters which makes it difficult to really decide which side people are actual on and Harry is running out of time. Voldermort is a lot more deadly in this film and Harry is a lot more pissed as Voldermort continues to kill everyone he loves. IF your a Harry Potter fan you will enjoy this next film. They actually broke this last film up into a two part series. Part 2 of The Deathly Hallow won't be released until sometime later in the Spring 2011. I am looking forward to it..I don't think Dumbledore is really dead. I wonder if it's a plot to make Voldermort think he is, so they can strike. Just a thought!

The new AMC Dine-In Theatre Experience.

As I walked to the front doors of this new movie theatre I was blown away. I had no idea what to expect. First I notice is a full bar; in a movie theater; no way! The manager gave me a full tour of the place which included the lounge area for food and drinks, and the two different kinds of theaters that they have. The first theatre for an admission of $20.00 pays for your admission and $10.00 towards food. If you happen to go over, you pay the difference. There are leather comfortable seats, individual tables for you to eat, menus, and a call button for the waitress that comes directly to your seat to take your order. She also comes around, much like a restaurant to ask if you want anything else and to remove your food. Very fancy... The second theatre, the VIP if you will is a bit more expensive. For $5.00 more you ($15.00 towards your food and drinks) get the leather reclining seats that feel like your home, complimentary services (like gourmet popcorn and candy; sample size of course) and more room..as much as you can stand. I loved it! It is especially nice for those long movies because there is just so much space. I couldn't do the Dine-In experience every time I go to see a movie but DEF twice a month. Why eat before or after the movie when you can do it all in one spot! My mom said she went to one in GA and the only difference was the table where you eat was one long table for everyone to share. This one you had your own individual table which makes it more personal. A must! Go and check it out!
